Maintenance Technician - PM Shift

The Francis Marion Hotel is the premier landmark hotel in Charleston, SC. We are proud to provide the highest level of service to our extremely loyal guests. We have an immediate opportunity for a full time Maintenance Technician to join our enthusiastic team. The schedule will include Sunday 7AM - 3:30PM and Monday - Thursday 3:30PM - 12AM.

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for all areas of building maintenance including plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and HVAC in an efficient, safe, accident-free manner. Strong communication skills and customer service skills are required as this job gives priority to guest requests being handled in a prompt, courteous, and efficient manner.

Interested applicants must have a minimum of 2 years experience in facilities maintenance preferably for a hotel and a knowledge of building mechanical systems and controls. An associates degree in building maintenance is a plus. This job requires continuous standing, walking, climbing, lifting, pushing, pulling, bending, and kneeling.
