Are you looking to make a difference working on a small team using cutting edge technology to further drive product innovation?

Zift Solutions is looking for a full stack Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help continue the growth and success of our channel marketing platform.

We are looking for talented individuals who are self-starters, have a high learning ability to absorb new information readily and put it into practice effectively, use their communication skills to positively influence others, are comfortable working with and engaging directly with our CTO, have familiarity with our tech stack, and enjoy sharing knowledge to help further develop those around them.

Primary Responsibilities :

Work with a development team through all phases of product development including design, implementation and release.

Develop reusable software modules and components, technical design and development of new software modules and enhancements of existing ones.

Work with your peer developers to integrate the UI into application / business tier.

Mentor and train junior developers about software development best practices and techniques.

Study new technologies and bring fresh ideas that can benefit the project.

Maintain and improve company software development practices and standards.

Evolve the existing software system applications and architecture in various areas as needed.

Qualifications

We are looking for candidates who have :

B.S or M.S. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent

7+ years of software development experience

Deep Experience and / or familiarity with the following systems and programs : Java EE Stack, Multi-Tier : Full Spring Stack, Spring MVC, etc;

Database : Hibernate, SQL expert, Open Source Stacks : Apache projects, Commons, etc.; Web Development : Expert in JavaScript frameworks - for example jQuery, AngularJS etc;

Expert in HTML5 and CSS3; Bootstrap 3; Automated Test Frameworks and Tools : JUnit, Spock, EasyMock, etc.

Strong understanding of the software development cycle, specifically Agile / Scrum

Experience with writing and maintaining automated tests as part of the software development lifecycle

Experience with using and writing REST web services

A strong work ethic and organizational skills

The ability to work in both the application / business tier and the UI tier

The ability to study new technologies and bring fresh ideas that can benefit the project

Experience in creating the architectures of new projects from scratch

Preferred Qualifications :

Experience in multi-tenant SaaS applications with start-ups or mid-size companies.

Experience with microservices

Experience leading and mentoring other team members

Experience with marketing automation systems like Eloqua, Marketo, MailChimp, and Constant Contact

Experience in cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services and Azure

Experience with SDLC management tools such as Jenkins, GIT, BitBucket, and JIRA

Experience with container frameworks like Docker

Additional Information :

This position will be located in either Cary, NC or remotely in Charleston, SC.

Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the US without sponsorship, now or in the future.
