As a Business Analyst for the Management Solutions Portfolio, you will have the opportunity to work with product teams and professionals from across the organization to affect the maturity of Management Solutions products for Boeing and our customers, world-wide. In this position, you will be part of a high performing portfolio team, which is passionate about aviation training and its impact on aviation safety. You will interact with product teams who are defining and developing data collection and data analytics products that will serve as the foundation for a future paradigm within Training Solutions.

This is a hybrid position that allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options.

Position Responsibilities:
  • Identifies business opportunities to optimize the Management Solutions portfolio and product teams
  • Conducts a variety of analyses on topics including target markets, market trends, new technologies, customer business issues and the competitive environment
  • Applies broad knowledge of company product capabilities and service offerings with in-depth analysis of market position to create and expand the portfolio of products and solution alternatives
  • Works closely with product development to create products and validates early product definitions with customers
  • Work with product and marketing leads as well as external airline customers to manage logistics for portfolio-level Customer Advisory Boards
  • Work with product leads to scope, plan and establish business process direction and strategies
  • Serve as a liaison between product teams and information technology teams to assess and close compliance-related gaps related to Fit for Use and My Boing Fleet onboarding others
  • Serve as a liaison between product teams and the PRIME team to ensure product teams comply with product development lifecycle and gate requirements
  • Supports product team data privacy efforts including assessments, coordination across departments, and completion of data privacy plans
  • Assist product teams by collecting task status and creating visibility materials of project, as required to facilitate status reporting for management and executives
  • Assist project/product teams in dealing with issues to help mitigate impacts of technical debt, resource, finance and access challenges as they arise
  • Executes on onboarding tasks for internal and external product end users
  • Work with product teams to expand their use of Agile methodology and approach
  • Support product team members with release planning to include drafting release notes, drafting training guides, scheduling training, and setting up user accounts among other activities
  • Support product team members with duties as needed

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
  • Bachelor's is required in business or a related field
  • 1-3 years of experience working with product teams
  • 1-3 years Experience in Project Management
  • 1-3 years Experience in Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint
  • 1-3 years Experience working in a Scaled Agile environment

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
  • Experience with Product, Project, and Program Management Best Practices

Typical Education/ Experience:

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 2 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience (e.g. Master, 6 year's related work experience, etc.).

Relocation:

This position is located in a location that does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.
