- Administer and troubleshoot Citrix, VMware, and Microsoft virtualization solutions
- Provide installation support by assisting with upgrades, installing service packs and hotfixes, and resolving service requests
- Provide phone and remote support to various customers running various virtualization technologies
- Support and maintain customer-facing virtualized hosting environment
- Perform installation and configuration of virtualized components under the guidance and supervision of a technical lead
- Assist on internal and external virtualization operations enhancement, sustainment and support projects
- Participate in customer-facing projects as part of a delivery team
- Be willing and able to work in 4x10 monthly rotation schedule shifts (day/evening/night)
- Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Physics, Network Security, Information Systems or Computer Science
- One (1) year of experience in Microsoft Server or Linux operating systems, including: Systems/Equipment Support, plus Test and Evaluation support of C4ISR requirements
- Have or be working toward one of the following certifications: Certified Software Development Professional (CSDP) previously known as Certified Software Engineering Professional (CSEP) or A vendor/platform specific certification such as one of the following: CISCO Certified Network Professional (CCNP), Citrix Certified Administrator (CCA), Microsoft Certified Applications Developer (MCAD), Microsoft Certified Database Administrator (MCDBA), Microsoft Certified Solutions Developer (MCSD), Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist (MCTS), Oracle Certified Professional (OCP), Red Hat Certification Program (RHCP), Sun Certified Professional (SCP), VMware Certified Professional (VCP), Other (with advanced approval)
- Active DOD Secret clearance
- Strong verbal communication skills
- Demeanor to interact with all levels of an organization and with external customers in a professional, diplomatic and tactful manner
- Organized and detail-oriented
