You will be responsible for the management of the Community Visitors Scheme (CVS) – Residential Aged Care program in South West Sydney. Building relationships with stakeholders is a key part of the role as you will take referrals from them to allocate volunteer services. You will also oversee recruitment, management, training and support to volunteers.To be successful for the role you will have:Exceptional communications skills and proven ability to work independently.Experience in the Aged Care and/or Community Services sector desirable (but not essential)Ability to recruit and support volunteers and the ability to undertake a caring, fair and respectful approach in the management of volunteers and residentsAbility to work as part of a team, willingness to support other team membersStrong planning and organisational skills and ability to meet deadlinesSolid administration skills and computer literacy Current driver’s licence and own vehicleTime flexibility when required for occasional extra events and training.So, if you’re looking for a role where you can make a positive & rewarding impact in a great organisation like ours, then we’d love to hear from you.
