Project Manager(Saas and Six Sigma experience)

IRG is seeking a Senior Project Manager(Saas and Six Sigma experience) for its client at Providence, RI. Role: Senior Project Manager(Saas and Six Sigma experience) Duration: 1 year 35 hrs pr Week Location: Providence, RI Position can be remote at first but want the ability to bring onsite as needed. Local candidates preferred, not required. Position will work between the Providence and Cranston RI offices. Expenses not reimbursed. Responsibilities:

• Senior project management experience in the evaluation and planning of large, multi-phased SaaS / COTS applications to support multiple agencies coordinating internal and vendor stakeholders
• Create and maintain an inclusive project plan to actively managing relevant work streams of the project and oversee project scope, schedule and budget deliverables.
• Participate in business analysis:

• Establish and manage a RAID log (risks, actions, issues, decisions) throughout the entire project.
• Define and manage the communications and stakeholder engagement plans.
• Ensure effective facilitation of weekly team meetings to highlight project health, accomplishments, upcoming activities, and updates to RAID log.
• Responsible for the creation of weekly project and budget status reports and governance team presentations as required. ? Ensure effective Change Management occurs in a strategic manner throughout the project providing thought leadership based on experience and expertise.
• Clarify and resolve issues and lead conflict resolution in a timely manner
• Lead through experience around standard practices around a project

• 10+ years of combined project management and business analyst experience
• Highly competent individual who can think both strategically and tactically in numerous situations and is capable of toggling between the two seamlessly.
• Exceptional communication skills (e.g. verbal, written, presentation) and time management skills (e.g. ability to multi-task while meeting deadlines.)
• PMP certification strongly preferred, will consider deep applicable experience and other PM knowledge / certifications in lieu of these credentials.
• Ability to effectively manage multiple competing priorities at any given time
• Detail-oriented and ability to work collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information systems, or related discipline
• State Government experience a plus
