Position: Brand Marketing ManagerLocation: Fully Remote/Off-siteStarts: June 2021Duration: November 2021Status: FreelanceRate: DOE

Our client, a global leader in the retail product space, is looking for a Brand Marketing Manager to fill a long-term freelance position starting as soon as possible.

In this role, you will ensure all brand guidelines and tone are consistent from a global perspective. The work will be done with three main focuses: leading cross-functional teams to develop and execute brand initiatives, developing consumer communications strategy, and creating go-to-market templates.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Developing U.S. strategic business plans to achieve brand financial goals, including pricing recommendations and shipment forecasting, and manage a marketing spend budget across segments• Growing brand revenue and profitability by item/ segment to drive portfolio growth• Create, execute and manage fully integrated U.S. Marketing brand plans, including consumer communications strategy, omni-channel media plan, consumer promotions and retail strategy• Own the development, analysis and communication of item-level forecasts, and partner with operations and logistics teams to manage inventory build plan• Developing and managing media plans and spending by brand, considering product performance and inventory levels• Plan and direct implementation of all trade and account-specific promotional programs to achieve business goals• Analyze and track POS performance and competitive activity to drive decision-making and identify growth opportunities• Partner with U.S. Sales organization to drive brands at retail, including leading sales meeting presentations to customers and developing retailer-specific programs and activations• Provide strategic direction to Global Brand Team on product line, financials and marketing toolkit assets• Provide timely, consistent, and accurate communication of brand activity and key information to internal and external partners

The IDEAL Brand Marketing Manager will have:- 3+ years of experience - Background in the retail/B2C space - Strong communication skills with ability to lead internal and external conversations - Proof of understanding the go-to-market process- High attention to detail and proficient organization - Ability to create successful presentations compiling analytical and financial data This is a six month contract opportunity, 40hrs/wk. This position can be fully remote so long as you are able to work east coast hours.
