Description:Our client has an immediate need for a

Sr. Network Engineer, who will be responsible for supporting the end-to-end firewall service delivery for network infrastructure.

Require

ments:

• Bachelors’ degree in Information Technology or related field
• 8+ years of experience in technology or security
• Verbal and written communication skills, problem solving skills, customer service and interpersonal skills
• Experience supporting a multi-platform network environment with demonstrated ability to lead the delivery for current and new technologies
• Experience with campus and datacenter routing, switching, and network protocols
• Experience with WAN and Backbone network protocols - BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and QoS frameworks
• Experience with Data Center Networking protocols – STP, HSRP, MLAG, BGP, EVPN, VXLAN

Responsibilities:

• Applying process management principles and structure to network based projects
• Maintaining the network operating environment by supporting lifecycle projects while ensuring compliance with configuration standards
• Providing day-to-day management and support of key network infrastructure and platforms – including services such as Velocloud SD-WAN, Infoblox DDI, and related technologies for supporting core network services to our user base
• Performing periodic review of network process, procedures and protocols to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction in the most effective and efficient manner. Assist with producing and updating documentation
