Job DescriptionThe purpose of this solicitation is to hire an experienced Senior Desktop Support Specialist. A great understanding of Windows Desktop Administration, Active Directory concepts, Domain administration and thin client / Laptop computing are required. Win 10, O365, Microsoft Office, SCCM and Thin clients are highly recommended. Experience with large scale deployments would be beneficial. Work across a broad range of technologies and liaises across multiple areas of the business to support incidents, problems and requests. Responsible for answering IT requests via ServiceNow Incident tracking system, phone email, or in person and explaining solutions in technical and non-technical terms.

Vendor is to provide an experienced Desktop Support Technician to the existing DOIT Technical Support team. Vendor is expected to provide a Senior Desktop Support Technicians onsite, will work mostly from the Cranston office, Monday - Friday 8:30am - 4:00pm

The anticipated duration of this project is longer than 12 -24 months with unlimited contract extensions. Vendor is expected to provide Senior Desktop Support Specialist’s onsite for 35 hours per week. Services should commence around November 22, 2021. Contingent on the work load to successful implementation, additional contract extensions may be requested.

SCOPE:

1. Vendor must meet with Technical Support Manager to ensure Senior Desktop Support Specialist’s success.

2. Senior Desktop Support Specialist’s must adhere to DolT Security and State of RI policies.

4. Senior Desktop Support Specialist’s will be subjected to periodical review by Technical Support Manager.

5. Senior Desktop Support Specialist’s will be expected to pass all of the Department of Administrations Security Policies.

6. Vendor must meet with Technical Support Manager to ensure Senior Desktop Support Specialist’s success on a weekly basis.

7. Senior Desktop Support Specialist’s must adhere to DolT Security and State of RI policies.

8. Senior Desktop Support Specialist’s will be subjected to periodical review by Technical Support Manager.
