Reference #: SENIO003446DescriptionBrown and Caldwell is looking for a strategic Senior Client Service Manager with an established track record of client development, marketing, and winning projects and programs within the Retail, Real Estate, Financial and Transportation space of the private sector.This position may be filled remotely with preference in Houston, TX; Phoenix, AZ; Nashville, TN; Chicago, IL; Minneapolis/St. Paul, MN; Ramsey (Northern), NJ; Philadelphia, PA; Irvine, CA; Walnut Creek, CA; or Seattle, WA offices.Detailed Description:As a Senior Client Service Manager (CSM) you will provide senior-level engineering services and business management and be charged with leading the growth of the Private Sector business in a specific market sector (Retail, Real Estate, Financial and Transportation (RREFT)). CSMs achieve the firm's prominence through application of strategic vision, persuasive leadership, coordination with local office staff, and application of necessary directive efforts. This is an action-oriented position; needed actions are based upon solid market information, instinct, and coordination with the firm's local and business group staff. You will be expected to develop and implement market segment strategies in collaboration with other PSE Leaders and the Market Sector Director.The CSM is responsible for managing and growing RREFT work for multiple client accounts. Characteristics of the CSM include the proven ability to generate and sustain significant revenue nationally from clients through environmental compliance and permitting projects, as well as other environmental, water resource, and engineering projects. As CSM, you will be part of a team of project managers and technical staff performing the work, guiding continuity from sales through project delivery.You will be responsible for the development and profitable execution of Private Sector projects through market and client strategy development; skillful financial and operational management; and helping others develop and supervise a talented team within your market.Lead and create sustainable business development and delivery capabilities for the sector.Establish industry leadership for Brown and Caldwell services within the Private Sector.Develop personal relationships with target client's key personnel, and in areas of sector growth.Maintain exceptional client relationships while navigating and aligning the client's organization with BC's team of experts and resourcesServe as a key leader in client organization associations, and professional engineering circlesLead and contribute to the firm's marketing, sales and overall business success.Establish personal relationships with competitors/contractors, particularly in those areas of sector growth.Ensure successful and profitable delivery of projects partnering with internal project, design, and risk management teams, along with other enterprise groups.Participate in base business, growth, sales and planning processesBuild and sustain a collaborative culture and environment that truly demonstrates client service, technology, innovation, professionalism, and teamwork.Assist in recruiting staff to maintain growth - this includes identification of key performers who will help increase capabilities to correlate with the marketAdvise on career development of staff - identify high potential performers/leadersProvide technical oversight and support on environmental projectsLead commitment to non-financial goals, such as:Leverage across company for marketing, project delivery, and support systems (staffing, quality assurance)Ensure quality, client service, clarity of work product and projects.Focus on investment decisions (use capital and resources to highest competitive advantage)Promote and support technical systems improvements driven by company initiativesDesired Skills and Experience:Bachelor's degree in Science or Engineering, required; Masters' degree in Engineering/Sciences and/or MBA preferred
