As a Security Officer 2, you supervise a team of Security Officer 1's and maintain strong communication with the Fire and Safety Marshal and Safety Manager to provide a safe and secure treatment environment for the care of individuals with mental illness. Also, you are responsible for ensuring that the safe environment in multiple buildings is maintained and to respond to emergency situations that may arise. You work independently to make decision that affect security operation at the hospital.Interested in learning more? Additional details regarding this position can be found in the position description.Work Schedule and Additional Information:Full-time employment 40-hour work week

Work hours are 11:00 PM to 7:00 PM, rotating days, every third weekend off.

Employee may be required to supervisor on all shifts.

May change based on operational needs.

Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:One year as a Security Officer 1; or

Any equivalent combination of experience or training which provides the knowledges, skills, and abilities required to provide supervisory security services .

Special Requirement:You must possess a valid Pennsylvania Motor Vehicle operator's license.Other Requirements:You must meet the PA residency requirement. For more information on ways to meet PA residency requirements, follow the link and click on Residency.

You must be able to perform essential job functions.

Legal Requirements:A conditional offer of employment will require a medical examination.

This position falls under the provisions of the Older Adult Protective Services Act.

Under the Act, a conditional offer of employment will require submission and approval of satisfactory criminal history reports, including but not limited to, PA State Police and FBI clearance.
