Job Description: Apex Systems is seeking multiple Associate Scientists for our large Pharmaceutical Client in the Spring House area. Our ideal candidate has experience working in a lab setting, as well as strong molecular & cell biology skills. Requirements:
  • B.S. or M.S. degree in a biology-related field.
  • Experience working in laboratory setting. Industry experience is preferred.
  • Experience performing benchwork independently in a laboratory setting, maintaining sterile conditions. Experience in a pharmaceutical setting preferred.
  • Extensive experience in the culture and maintenance of cancer cell lines.
  • Molecular and cell biology skills: ELISA, luminescent cell viability assays, and/or flow cytometry preferred, dose titration and serial dilution, plating compounds and cell lines.
  • Experience in lentiviral transduction or CRISPR applications is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Office programs (Excel), and computer proficiency to learn other data management systems.
  • Must have exceptional written and oral communication skills.
