We are looking for Packers for our client in Reading, PAHours: 1st: 7:00am-3:00pm 2nd: 3:00pm- 11:00pm 3rd: 11:00pm- 7:00am OT and weekends could be mandatoryPay: $13/ hrThis temp to hire position is a way to get your foot in the door with a great company Job Duties:Performs work in a safe manner to assure protection of self and others.Becomes familiar with department safety equipment, rules and their necessity.Manually removes all trays from the packing table in the prescribed manner.Is knowledgeable of tray quality and discards sub-quality trays.Informs the Lead Operator, Foam Attendant, or Supervisor of any noticeable change in quality.Maintains an accurate count of bags packed. Maintains and accurate tray count per bag.Maintains a clean work area.Conducts food safety and defense self-inspections and reports on deficiencies.Performs other duties as directed by the Supervisor.Physical Demands: Ability to be on your feet all day and work in a fast paced manufacturing environmentAbility to lift at least 30 lbs continuously throughout the day The building is NOT climate controlled so there could be extreme heat or cold at timesCould work up to 12 hour shifts Pre screening Drug and Background requiredApply today for an interview Volt is an equal opportunity employer.
