Java Full Stack Developer
Position Description CGI is seeking to hire a Full stack Java Developer to join our team Pittsburgh, PA!In this role you will be architecting and developing J2EE & Core Java based applications.Your future duties and responsibilities• Design and development of REST services including authorization and metering.• Designing/developing J2EE based web-applications (JSP, Servlets, JSF, XSLT, XML)o Developing Single Page Web Apps (SPA)o Design and development of high performance web scale systems including non-blocking designs and distributed caching.• Design and implementation of automation and repeatable testing infrastructure.Required qualifications to be successful in this role Looking for Full stack Java Developer Top Required Skills• Prior (hands-on) experience Architecting J2EE & Core Java based applications.• Expert in Design and development of REST services including authorization and metering.• Prior experience in JavaScript Frameworks (Angular JS is required)• Expert in designing/developing J2EE based web-applications (JSP, Servlets, JSF, XSLT, XML) Highly Preferred Skills• Prior experience with at least 3-4 years of specific experience in the below items in:o Developing Single Page Web Apps (SPA)o Design and development of high performance web scale systems including non-blocking designs and distributed caching.o Prior experience with Maven, Jenkins, Atlassian toolkits Nice to Have• Cloud infrastructure design and management• Design and implementation of automation and repeatable testing infrastructure.• Prior experience in NOSQL databases (Cassandra, Mongo etc) Additional Skills• Exposure to Banking industry is Plus• Resourceful, Problem Solver, and Methodical• Commitment to learning new technologies and training• Ability to work independently and with a team• Ability to impart specific expertise in discussions with project managers, information architects, business analysts and other developers whenever appropriate• Versatility; flexibility, ability to manage many processes simultaneously• Working understanding of the environmental concerns inherent in an Enterprise IT environment.Education: Bachelors Degree in CS or related field#doubledownBuild your career with us.It is an extraordinary time to be in business.
