Full Time Instructor of Japanese Language

The Department of East Asian Languages and Literatures at the University of Pittsburgh invites applications for afull-time instructor of Japanese languageposition in the Japanese language program starting in thefall of 2025, pending budgetary approval. Candidates must have near-native or native language proficiency, hold at leasta master's degreein Japanese linguistics, language pedagogy, or studies, and be authorized to work for the University.At least two years of prior experience in teaching Japanese and prior experience in teaching with the performed culture approach is strongly preferred.
