Are you ready to take the lead in a world-class Information technology role? Computing Services at Carnegie Mellon University is seeking a motivated and dedicated individual to join our exceptional team as a Program Lead for our Splunk platform in Pittsburgh, PA, USA.Join our team to work with advanced technology and collaborate with accomplished professionals in the field. Your main duty will be to oversee the operations and management of the Splunk Enterprise environment in order to solve business problems and to help drive innovation within our organization. Although you will not have direct reports, you will lead and coordinate resources from other teams to effectively implement the tasks.Responsibilities:Set the strategic direction of the program by continually driving architectural, process, and system improvements for the Splunk Enterprise and Splunk Enterprise Security (ES) platform.Oversee the onboarding, maintenance, access, and full lifecycle management of data sources into the platform, ensuring compliance with technical and policy standards.Coordinate with other IT and Information Security resources for operational tasks, project execution, and technical initiatives.Develop and maintain documentation of configurations, processes, and procedures.Empower platform users to employ key features for their business goalsStay informed about current industry trends and effective approaches to consistently improve the Splunk platform.Requirements:Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or a related field, or equivalent experienceExperience in designing, implementing, and operating data analytics platformsStrong knowledge of Splunk Enterprise and Enterprise Security architecture, configuration, and administration, including dashboards, reports, and alertsDemonstrated ability to analyze and resolve complex issuesExcellent project management and coordination skills.Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to foster collaboration among different teams and collaborators.At Carnegie Mellon University, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse environment.
