At G. Fedale Roofing and Siding, we are a family owned, top-rated exterior home improvement company with offices in and around Wilmington, Delaware. Our marvelous growth has prompted this job search and we are currently in the hunt for a skilled Site Manager to join our North Wales, PA team. In this important role you will be bring your site management expertise to support home repair projects from inception through completion.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Accompanies the Project Manager (PM) on visits to project sites. Contacts homeowners with approved contracts, schedules visits, and communicates with customers regarding schedule changes.

Assists the PM to develop project specs. Visits project sites, confirms measurements and materials provided by the Estimator, identifies issues that might affect the successful completion of the project, and clarifies any identified issues with the homeowner.

Assists in monitoring project progress. Communicates with work crew leaders to proactively identify concerns impacting timelines. Effectively responds to customer's questions or concerns. Keeps appropriate people in the loop.

Assists in reconciling pre-project and post-project margins. Analyzes and escalates discrepancies to the appropriate people on a weekly basis. Identifies opportunities for improvement and creates/implements strategies to capture them. Seeks opportunities and ways to be better.

Provides feedback to the Sales, Marketing, and Production Departments. Provides feedback to other departments on potential revenue opportunities or improvements that could help the company grow.

Works safely and champions safety! Follows all company rules and operating procedures, practices and guidelines.

Completes other tasks as assigned by management. Helps others out when needed.

Requirements:

A high school diploma or GED. Additional training or coursework in construction skills, estimating, and/or customer service is a plus.

3+ years of experience in the home building, remodeling, or renovation markets as a skilled tradesman, site manager, or project manager. This cannot be your first roofing rodeo!

A demonstrated ability to understand and work with contracts that provide for construction services or financing for construction services.

A demonstrated understanding of home insurance and how home insurance claims are processed. Solid working knowledge of federal, state, and local laws and regulations related to the selling, providing, and invoicing of construction services.

Strong 4-function math skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with an emphasis on quantitative methods.

Demonstrated computer skills using a service-oriented CRM system, including mobile access.

Strong spoken and written communication skills when interacting with customers, staff, management, or vendors. Excellent customer service skills, including the ability to diffuse challenging situations when presented and arrive at workable solutions.

Strong abilities to multi-task, prioritize activities, and react quickly to changing information.

A valid driver's license with clean driving record as is required to perform company-related business.

Desirable personal traits including honesty, integrity, accuracy, high standards, fairness, and good listening and time management skills.

No restrictions or requirements preventing the ability to work in the US for any US company.

Physical demands:

The ability to walk around an office, warehouse, or neighborhood, climb and descend stairs, work in a seated position at a desk for hours at a time, stand at a trade/home show for hours at a time, drive to and from offsite meetings, operate computers and phones, open file cabinets, bend/stand as necessary, transport, set up, and use an extension ladder, safely climb on, navigate around, and descend from residential and commercial roofs, and occasionally lift and carry up to 80 pounds.
