Private Estate Property Manager

Overall Responsibility

Management of a historically significant Bucks County estate located in Upper Makefield. A self-starting, unique individual to manage, maintain and improve the grounds, gardens, home and outbuildings on this 100+ acre property.

Basic Qualifications

The right individual must a prior experience in all areas landscape maintenance, property management, home maintenance and improvement including familiarity with all trades that provide these sorts of service.

Must be able to effectively communicate with the estate owners and work well in conjunction with the other members of the family office team.

Must be a hands-on team member with a strong work ethic, be dependable and must take great pride and responsibility in his/her work and the work of the people that he/she supervises.

Must be physically able to perform the rigors of this position as it requires lifting of 50+ lbs., physical labor which is sometimes performed in all weather conditions.

Educational emphasis focused on horticulture or agronomy and relevant trade experience will be considered a plus.

Key Areas of Responsibility

Working in conjunction with the estate owners, must be able to develop, budget and implement a list of tasks to be performed on a routine basis but also plan for and management new projects for the betterment of all aspects of the Estate.

Be able to effectively supervise a staff.

Effectively select and supervise work performed under your direction for tasks to be completed requiring additional skills to be performed by outside, third party contractors.
