Pennsylvania, Philadelphia, 19113 Philadelphia USAThe Department of Medical Ethics and Health Policy at the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania seeks candidates for several Assistant Professor positions in either the non-tenure clinician educator track or the tenure track. Expertise is required in the specific area of population health, which includes (but is not limited to) identifying patterns and drivers of health behaviors, morbidity, and mortality and health disparities; evaluating the impacts of health and social policies or environmental factors on a range of health behaviors and outcomes; evaluating the effects of food and nutrition policies on diet and health; evaluating the impacts of climate change on health and well-being; and conducting intervention studies to improve population health outcomes at local, state, national, or global levels. Candidates with backgrounds in economics, epidemiology, psychology, demography, sociology, political science, or interdisciplinary methods are encouraged to apply. Experience with observational or experimental studies using statistical and/or econometric methods is necessary. Applicants must have an M.D. or Ph.D. or M.D./Ph.D. or equivalent degree.
