Job Description

The SEO (Search Engine Optimization) team is a crucial part of the Marketing team here at Comoto and we are dedicated to acquiring new customers through natural or “free” results on Search Engines like Google and Bing. Organic Search is one of the top revenue driving channels in marketing and we specialize in getting customers to come to us through high quality content creation. By crafting the right content for our audience and optimizing it for Search Engines, we deliver what searchers are asking for and make it easy for them to find online. We focus on finding new opportunities by capitalizing on untapped search demand and strive to outrank other sites for the most valuable target terms.

We are looking for an e-commerce focused copywriter that lives and breathes all things moto to join the team. You’ll work alongside strategic marketers & content creators to produce copy that grows our Organic search audience, educates our visitors, excites moto-enthusiasts, and inspires riders from all walks of life.

• Manage deadlines for multiple projects simultaneously

• Have outstanding creative and technical writing ability

• Research and prepare optimized copy for upcoming initiatives

• Revisit and refine the existing copy living on pages that are already ranking for target terms with high search volume

• Refresh historic content that’s outdated or over optimized

• Create a range of net-new content that spans from being applicable to the novice rider all the way up to technical for the seasoned roadwarrior with a lifetime of moto experience

• Take complex ideas and translate them into simple, clear language that can be broadly understood by a wide audience of readers

• Identify overlapping themes for expert level recommendations and cross linking opportunities from the lens of an advanced rider

Qualifications

• A seasoned writer with a strong background in professional writing for 2+ years

• Well versed in fundamentals & best practices for writing optimized copy for SEO purposes

• Well versed in all things moto with an advanced level of knowledge in riding & wrenching

• Able to relate to the needs of our audience and can craft content that gets ahead of answering the questions you know they’re asking themselves at home before making a purchase

• Familiar with our existing vendors
