The ideal candidate is someone who is driven, independent, intellectually curious, takes initiative, and communicates effectively.ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Actively monitors the Sepsis platform to accurately identify Sepsis patients across 5 Jefferson emergency departments following screening criteria developed by our Sepsis teamResponds to all alerts within the Sepsis platform and takes appropriate action as per the defined workflowsProactively participates in the early detection of Sepsis patients and communicates with the Intensivist on call about eligibility questionsFor qualifying patients, actively monitors the Sepsis bundle elements (SEP-1 actions) to ensure clinical compliance as per the defined protocols and best practicesCommunicates with on-site clinical emergency department staff and on-call intensivists when necessaryTimely escalates clinical and operational issues to the Clinical SupervisorRecords relevant updates and findings in a data collection toolAttends standing meetings and reports out on patients monitoredAll other duties as assigned#GD#INDEED123Jefferson Strategic Ventures (JSV) is a team of forward-thinking individuals from diverse backgrounds, bringing depth and breadth of knowledge, skills, experience, and insight to the table for a mutually beneficial partnership.
