Principal Wireless Systems Engineer- 5G Modeling

They are building a state-of-the-art communications and network platform that will be the infrastructure for the future of manned and unmanned aircraft. They have agreements with NASA, the FAA and even AWS directly for their cloud telecom services. They are currently hiring for a Senior Wireless System Engineer to join their team. You will develop advanced network planning, optimization algorithms and digital twin systems, and asses their performance. You should have experience in modeling, and creating simulations of 5G and advanced telecom network systems. • MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering or related field with strong theoretical background in wireless communications theory
• 6+ years of experience with cellular network design and optimization
• Knowledge of 3GPP LTE standards- LTE Layer 2/Layer 3
• Programming experience in C/C/Python/MATLAB
• Experience with advanced multi-antenna technologies such as beamforming and MIMO

• Develop C/C/Python/ MATLAB cellular networks, propagation/link budget, and quality/coverage/capacity optimization algorithms for network planning
• Develop traffic pattern models
• Apply propagation theory, cellular theory, optimization routines, RF tools, and antenna theory to develop innovative network optimization algorithms, radio planning algorithm, radio propagation models, Interference detection and reduction algorithms, and power control algorithms
• Utilize databases for terrain, buildings, landcover, and environmental parameters to use in network planning software development
