Senior Process Engineer

Piper Life Sciences Solutions is actively seeking a Process Engineer to join a large global Biotechnology and Pharmaceutical Consulting Company supporting cell therapy, gene therapy and biotechnology in the greater Philadelphia and New Jersey area. This position has flexible hours and work from home flexibility.

• Write, review, and revise batch records, SOPs and protocols for external manufacturing
• Support deviations, CAPAs, and change controls for external manufacturing across sites in US, EU and Asia
• Assist or lead process improvement projects including, but not limited to, implementing new manufacturing lines, integrating new management systems, troubleshooting current manufacturing process
• Lead tech transfer process from internal to external manufacturing, manage CMOs, manage all internal and external stakeholders
• Oversee and assist with process validation, facility fit and design, and CMO selection
• Review and audit all documentation associated to external manufacturing activities

• Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering, Biochemistry, Biomedical Engineering or related field
• At least 3-5 years of experience working in a pharmaceutical environment within process engineering, process development, and/or manufacturing sciences and technology
• Excellent written, verbal, communication, and organizational skills
• Strong technical writing skills and strong attention to detail

• Compensation: $80,000-130,000 based on previous salary history and experience
