The Leasing Consultant is responsible for leasing and marketing as well as maintaining positive relationships with the residents. They should have strong organizational and communication skills.
Greet prospective residents and provide information on floor plans, availability, amenities and other pertinent information Obtain information from potential renters to allow follow-up conversations according to company procedure Learn the leasing process from initial contact to the execution of the lease Know all aspects of the properties including rent, availability, lease dates, etc. Assist residents with service requests when needed Perform follow-up phone calls/text with residents to ensure that the requests of the residents have been met
Assist with the move-in/move-out process (inspections, distributing Move-In packets, collecting rental payments, etc.) as directly by management in the month of August Take the necessary steps needed to execute the request that come in through a personal e-mail account Assist with answering the office telephone lines Performs other duties as assigned
Hours are 9AM – 5PM Monday through Friday with ½ hour paid lunch Some overtime required during August (Turnover), for Housing Fairs (2 per year), and an occasional Saturday if needed during the leasing season
Qualifications and Skills:
Valid driver license with driving privileges Reliable form of transportation to properties during working hours
Background check will be performed
