Accounts Payable Clerk

Description Robert Half has an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk opportunity that offers a stimulating work environment with a team of highly skilled professionals. The candidate in this position will be reporting to the Accounting Manager while attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department. The main responsibilities will include matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are primary areas of focus. This Accounts Payable Clerk opportunity will be located in the Moon Twp, Pennsylvania area and will be a long-term contract / temporary position.Your responsibilities in this roleProvide internal and external audit assistance as required

Open, sort, and deliver department mail on a daily basis

Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners

Sort, log, scan, and file invoices, checks, and other documents

Execute full-cycle A/P

Carry out daily processes and controls accurately and on time, and ensure compliance with company policies

Perform special projects as assigned

Support the AP/Finance Department by completing administrative tasks

Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred

Established communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills, especially with both technical and financial backgrounds

Attention to detail and ability to follow standard procedures is a requirement

Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel

Command of Accounts Payable (AP)
