We are currently searching for a qualified Level 2 Deskside Technician to join a company that manufacturers medicine and vaccinations for pets. This is an on-site position that is full-time with work hours M-F 8-5pm.Windows 10 Project refresh Responsibilities:
- Supporting Windows 10
- MS Office 0365
- Remote access
- Imaging
- Asset management
- IMAC - receiving equipment, unboxing, and deploying (set up, breakdown)
- All work comes from ServiceNow ticketing system
- Take tickets from Service Now and document all interactions with the user including the progress of the deployment including
- Assign the asset in CMDB to the user
- Contact the user and schedule time to replace old Laptop with new
- Verify user has current data back up
- Review user applications
- Mapped drives
- Network printer names
- Image and deploy new laptop to user
- Restore data, mapped drives, printers and ensure user has the applications they had on the old laptop Summary in closed notes everything was completed
- 2+ years of experience in the IT field processing tickets
- Good troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software
- Expected to handle 5 tickets a day maybe close 10-12 a week
- Imaging experience
- Must be detailed and process-oriented, able to work independently following detailed steps, documenting troubleshooting steps taken, and maintaining daily ticket status
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Driving to facilities within the campus is required, mileage reimbursement provided
