The IT Senior Analyst is responsible for identifying, designing, building, and operating information technology solutions. The position is customer focused and expected to build relationships with internal business customers, IT service providers, and internal colleagues. The role functions as part of a team that is chartered with:- Partnering with the personnel at the manufacturing sites- Ensuring the overall health and performance of the systems used by those personnel- As part of an IT Team, perform the tasks as assigned by management on identified, approved strategic initiative.- Participate in after-hours support schedule as neededThe Analyst is expected to work collaboratively across IT and business areas, and provide results that benefit individual client groups while also fitting in IT standards.All incumbents are responsible for following applicable Division & Company policies and procedures.Responsibilities% of TimeDelivering ResultsResponsible for delivering on assigned projects and ensure identified outcomes are being metExpected to work independently and execute against goals & objectives100%Customer FacingRepresent client area on proposed, broader technology changesBe the single point of contact for client area on any / all IT requests (outside of normal Service Desk calls). Work with colleagues to ensure Client area has what is needed to deliver on their operations and goals.Proactively work with client area to ensure technology is meeting their needsWhen possible, identify opportunities for improvementFor projects, expected to engage with business and understand business requirements. Able to translate those business requirements to technical requirements, and then drive delivery (under the direction of their management). OperationsMaintain current technology offerings. Ensure operational activities are performed as defined. This can range from supporting end-user tools (PCs, desktop applications, mobile devices) to specific department applications.Ensure the ongoing health and performance of systems. Proactively identify actions needed to ensure needed uptime, performance, and safe guards on data integrity and availability.Understand the business area’s times of operations and ensure the technology needed is available. This includes but is not limited to:Change ControlProject methodologyComputer Systems ValidationDelivering ResultsResponsible for delivering on assigned projects and ensure identified outcomes are being metExpected to work independently and execute against goals & objectivesTotal100%QualificationsEducation & ExperienceMinimal acceptable level of education, work experience and certifications required for the jobBachelor's degree; Business or Computer Science preferredMinimum 5+ years in combined technology manufacturing / lab systems experienceKnowledgeKnowledge of FDA regulations, GMP/GLP/Google Cloud Platform, Lean Manufacturing, Six-Sigma, etc.Strong experience in foundational IT skills; networking, desktop configuration, web technologies, Windows Domain administration, programming, and understanding SDLCExperience working in GxP sitesExperience with Computer Systems Validation (CSV)Experience with manufacturing and lab systemsExperience with performing Vendor managementExperienced in performing application management and supportSkills&AbilitiesStrong Customer Focus skillsExcellent CommunicationDemonstrated ability to perform IT Troubleshoot and Problem SolvingSelf-Starter, short learning curveStrong sense of Accountability and overall Result OrientedPhysical RequirementsPhysical & mental requirements e.g. lift 40 pounds, walk across plant/warehouse, business travel (% of time), driving as part of work responsibilities, etc.
