Come join the excitement at LDG!Impact and Opportunity:The Environmental Specialist will interact with clients, vendors, and staff to ensure project goals are met. This position also works as a member of a team to help identify and solve complex environmental issues. The Environmental Specialist will apply fundamental principles of environmental regulations to obtain environmental compliance for our clients. This position helps to ensure the success of clients & projects and closely interacts with clients and fellow team members to ensure total client satisfaction is obtained while meeting financial goals.Key Responsibilities:Performs and/or coordinates field work schedules to include preparing schedules and assigning tasks for staff.Interacts with clients, the public, design teams, and agencies.Closely tracks time spent on tasks and projects to ensure accurate reporting.Works closely with and fosters positive relationships among the team.Oversees preparation and submission of environmental reports and documentation.Recognizes opportunities for new projects and assists Technical and Project Managers with developing leads into new business.Provides oversight of technical staff and answers technical questions that arise.Participates in staff development and growth activities including existing staff management as well as new staff hiringParticipates in client development activities as directed.Requirements:Education: Bachelor's degree in Environmental Management, Environmental Science, or related field of study.Experience: minimum 5 to 7 years job related experience.Preferred Qualifications:CADD and/or GIS capabilitiesFederal Project experience a plusexperience with subjects such as: CEEs, EAs, and EISs, farmlands assessments, Section 4(f) evaluations, socioeconomics and environmental justice.Pa Chapter 102 and 105 permitting experience is a plus.Knowledge of stream design and stormwater management is a plus.EEO StatementLarson Design Group, Inc. is an Affirmative Action and Equal Opportunity Employer (EEO) that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
