- Resolve helpdesk tickets and log all support issues in helpdesk software.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues for computer software and hardware utilized by client's employees and/or partners.
- Troubleshoot and provide support for end user Voice over IP (VoIP) issues.
- Troubleshoot and provide support for wireless issues.
- Diagnose and resolve basic network related issues.
- Coordinate and lead IT projects with technology staff.
- Advise Help Desk staff and communicate goals and deadlines to team.
- Attend professional development/training to remain current in the latest technological trends and troubleshooting techniques.
- Attend technology meetings and other meetings as required.
- Provide website administration.
- Conduct research and provide recommendations for new technology.
- Develop and deliver trainings on technology topics.
- Manage user accounts and profiles within Microsoft active directory.
- Monitor and maintain spam filtering.
- Create and manage distribution lists.
- Create and manage shared user mailboxes.
- Maintain confidentiality with regard to the information being processed, stored, or accessed by the network.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required: Associate degree preferred.
- A+ certification preferred.
- A minimum of three (3) years of previous help desk or similar technology experience, required.
- Excellent interpersonal and written communication skills required.
- Strong PC and Mac troubleshooting skills required.
- Experience repairing technology including desktops, laptops, and mobile devices required.
- Experience supporting windows and mac OS required.
- Familiarity with the Microsoft Office Suite required.
- Knowledge of or experience with educational software and programs preferred.
- Experience with Windows Deployment Service for imaging and deploying computers preferred.
- Ability to serve as a subject matter expert for the support team, supported applications and hardware required.
- Must be self-motivated and team oriented.
- Ability to demonstrate leadership qualities.
- Must demonstrate professionalism while working with all levels of support contacts.
