Work with Advisors to earn their client referrals; assess client’s needs; present options and assist clients in the application process. Performs policy reviews and assists existing clients during the Annual Enrollment Period (AEP).Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesFollowing is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.Develop a book of business focusing on Medicare products.
Establish knowledge base of the Medicare plans and services provided by insurance carriers.
Run quotes and illustrations and support enrollment activities; explain benefits and features of Medicare plans presented to the client.
Establish relationships for referral partners and respond to inquiries.
Review current coverage and compare to Medicare products.
Record all required paperwork (Scope of Appointment) from client interactions to ensure compliance.
Assist with enrollment into Medicare by providing application instruction by either electronically submission or paper via fax/email.
Service established client’s policies at renewal, during the Medicare Annual Period or upon client request.
Obtain industry certifications and maintain them on a yearly basis in order to sell Medicare products.
May also focus on selling age-under 65 related health products.

Ability to provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers
Effective time management skills
Ability to prioritize and accomplish multiple tasks simultaneously
Capable of working independently as well as in a team environment
Ability to work in a self-directed fashion
Experience with PC’s in a Windows environment
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products
Ability to analyze problems and develop solutions
Ability to communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent education, training and work-related experience
Experience with MS Office applications and navigating carrier web sites
Obtain and maintain licenses in required states and appropriate appointments with approved Medicare carriers
Preferred Qualifications:Minimum two years of experience with Medicare and related products Proven sales experience in 2. Medicare Insurance sales
