PURPOSE AND SUMMARY STATEMENTUnder the direction of the Assistant Plant Manager, performs inventory and production functions to maintain accurate inventory and meet production schedules.SUPERVISION AND LEADERSHIPOversees the daily responsibilities of the other inventory specialists at location.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONSInitiates and completes work orders.

Monitors inventory costs and performs procedures to properly maintain correct costs.

Obtains Canadian certificates of seed analysis from vendors or labs to avoid shipping delays and maintains current certificate file.

Processes Canada shipments by coordinating order picking and all documentation to ensure timely entry into Canada.

Processes Canada orders through UPS system for Trade Direct and LTL shipments.

Completes Bill of Ladings.

Verifies and researches inventory discrepancies and ensures corrective transactions are made

Supervises quality control.OTHER JOB FUNCTIONSPrepares packaging labels, perform rack labeling and retagging.

Performs picking-order packing.

Assists with quality control.

Assists with product packaging.

Follows GROWMARK's Code of Conduct and Corporate Compliance Program, Environmental Health and Safety, OSHA and DOT policies and procedures, as they apply.

Performs all other duties as assigned.REQUIREMENTSNormally requires a high school diploma, or the equivalent thereof, and 1-3 years or more of related work experience to demonstrate knowledge of professional communication skills, typing proficiency and Microsoft Office programs.

Demonstrates essential abilities including business knowledge, collaboration, communication, customer focus, decision making and skill development.

Must have and maintain a valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Must be forklift certified.

Must be able to reach a proficient level in E1 system to complete data entry.
