Job Description: Apex is looking to hire a software engineer for one of our largest retail clients!

The software engineer will Design, modify, develops, write and implement software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience
  • Work collaboratively with designers, product managers, and other engineers
  • Leverage cutting-edge technologies and modern practices
  • Identify and communication technology problems and prepare remedies
  • Build and ship high-quality code at a rapid pace
  • Work with the latest platform tools to build new technologies
  • Participate in design thinking activities to improve the user experience
Ideally, you'll have experience in the following technologies.
  • Android - Kotlin, Retrofit, Coroutines, Dagger, LiveData, Flow, Room, Truth
  • General - MVVM architecture, Repository Pattern, Unit Tests, UI Tests, JSON APIs
