This position is responsible for creating a pipeline of candidates through networking and recruiting efforts in order to maintain business staffing plans.Job Duties: - Primary Duties:Owns full cycle recruiting for high volume field distribution center operations rolesIdentifies potential candidates through various forms of recruitment, such as resume review, local career fairs, networking, candidate sourcingScreens resumes and conducts phone screens with potential candidatesEnsure external and internal candidates complete full application for considerationCommunicates with local HR, Talent, and hiring manager through the search processOrganizes interviews and interview events such as job fairs to meet high volume staffing needs and pipeline for future rolesMaintains a tracking system and other staffing reporting to ensure business needs are being metPlans weekly recruiting meetings with operations leadership, Talent, and/or local HRStrategizes, coordinates and follows up on all recruitment activities for new businessManages the scheduling of candidate interviews, follow up and the timely completion of pre-employment paperworkPartners with Talent and HR to create and maintain a culture of continuous recruiting to support high volume hiring in a fast growing environmentConducts training sessions with operations leadership on interview techniques and candidate selectionPerforms recruitment advertising on public and university job boardsRepresents the Company at job fairs and on-campus recruiting sessionsAdministers personality assessments, background checks, and drug screensNegotiates starting salaries and administers offer packetsMaintains the internal job boardPartners with external recruiting agencies as necessarySupports the conversion of temporary employees to full time employees to ensure the business needs are metTravels up to 25-50%Other duties as required and assignedRequirements:Education and Experience:Bachelor's degree from 4 year college or universityMinimum 2 years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experienceExperience in high volume recruiting; preferably in logistics, transportation, international business and/or warehousingExperience in regional recruiting for both exempt and non-exempt positionsExperience in sourcing and networking to identify candidatesExperience with an Applicant Tracking System (Virtual Edge preferred)Knowledge of behavioral interviewingPC literate with experience with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Access and ExcelEssential Skills:Excellent written and oral communication skills that demonstrate a proven ability to develop relationships with a range of internal and external customersExcellent planning and organizational skillsAbility to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manualAbility to write routine reports and correspondenceAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram formEnvironment:While performing the duties of this job, the employee frequently is required to sit, reach with hands and arms, and talk.
