We have been in business since 1979 and now have 20 branches in 17 states.The purpose of the Manager-in-Training (MIT) position is the preparation of a candidate for a Branch Management position through an intense training program that involves exposure to all elements of the company. This position could be in the form of a Warehouse Supervisor, Assistant Branch Manager, or Branch Manager. Duties include, but are not limited to,working at a training location with branch warehouse staff to learn the basics of warehouse operations

work at the Central Warehouse in Springfield, MO to gain recognition of products and learning basics of operation

work with Customer Service Reps to learn products and responsibly of the CSRs

travel with selected Territory Managers to learn products, presentation, and value-added service concepts

work with the Merchandising department to become acquainted with vendors and supplier issues

work with Purchasing department to become acquainted with vendor shipping issues

work with IS to learn basic overview of the Redneck Trailer Supplies system

work with Accounting staff to become familiar with basic A/P, A/R, Credit, and General Ledger financial reports

fully absorb the Redneck Trailer Supplies marketing philosophy and market plan

work with the Director of Human Resources and the Safety & Risk Manager to gain an understanding of HR and safety policies and procedures

successfully complete the MIT program and participate in external training programs as recommended

work with Assistant Branch Managers, Branch Managers, and Warehouse Operations Managers to learn elements of their positions and their responsibilities

complete a series of evaluations which will demonstrate mastery of the skill sets needed to be successful in a Redneck Branch Management position

follow personal safe work practices always, use all personal protective equipment, and report all safety issues accurately and promptly

We are looking for a candidate that will take our core values to heart and has a strong drive to succeed in our industry. This position requires strong leadership abilities and strong organization and planning skills. Redneck Trailer Supplies provides training for newly hired sales representatives both at their branch, at other Redneck Trailer Supplies locations, and at our home office in Springfield, Missouri.The ideal candidate will be willing to travel and relocate to any of our branches as needed once training is complete. New graduates and soon to be university graduates encouraged to apply!
