We are currently seeking a Agile Project Manager to join our team in Remote, Texas (US-TX), United States (US). Job Description: Agile Project Manager How You'll Help Us: As an Agile Project manager, you will lead a team of developers in creating the next generation of applications that will take our clients' digital capabilities to the next level. Our clients are ready for a more nimble, agile approach to their technological capabilities and need highly skilled individuals who can help lead this digital transformation. You will help us by being responsible for managing all aspects of projects throughout the project lifecycles Initiation, Planning, Execution, Control and Closure. By additionally using Agile project management methodologies, you will ensure your development team is well positioned to succeed and product owners are thrilled with delivery. You will be responsible for ensuring that requirements for your projects are fulfilled with excellence. Finally, your promotion of the Agile and/or SAFe methodologies will improve the development experience and promote collaboration through the team. At the same time, we will make sure to equip you with the skills and resources you need to exceed expectations in our projects. Once You Are Here, You Will: Lead and manage large, complex enterprise-level projects, achieving project goals within project constraints. Facilitate coordinated planning across multiple dependent teams through traditional and agile methods. Play consultative role to put in place appropriate people, process, tools to synchronize the activities of multiple teams. Promote empowerment of the team ensuring that each team member is fully engaged in the project and making meaningful contributions while also encouraging a sustainable pace with high levels of quality for the team. Establish and execute an effective system of project governance and ensure project delivers the agreed to scope as defined in the SOW. Identify deviations from the SOW and manage via a change control process Prepare and distribute progress reports and metrics for key stakeholders, senior leaders and clients. Support team by removing roadblocks to work through leveraging organizational resources to improve work capacity and mentoring/developing team members. Required Qualifications: 5+ years' experience managing projects across the entire Systems Development Life Cycle using both Waterfall & Agile (Scrum/Kanban/SAFe) methodologies 3+ years' experience monitoring and controlling multiple projects simultaneously 3+ years' experience Preparing and distributing progress reports and metrics for key stakeholders, senior leaders and clients. 3+ years' with agile project management tools such as Jira, Jira-Align, Rally, Version One Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and work experience Able to travel as needed for project assignments (0-25%) after pandemic when travel returns to normal Preferred: PMI PMP certification Scrum or SAFe certification Ideal Mindset: Servant Leader. You lead with action, always searching for ways to serve the team. Empathetic. You enter conflict seeking to understand and prepared to help team members work through their problems as opposed to judging and condemning. Resourceful.
