Experienced Finisher (wood, automotive, metal) (Doylestown)

Job Description:

Experienced finishing position (min 5 yrs exp) with an upscale custom cabinetry studio located in Doylestown. Since this is a custom woodworking shop, specific training will be provided, however ideally candidates will have 5+ experience with finishing work (wood, auto, or similar). Must have in-depth experience with HVLP finishing systems, hand finishes, creating color matches, creating samples and be competent at creating high quality finishes.

Since this is a custom cabinetry shop candidate must be able to adapt and change to various finishing systems, techniques and finishing products. Candidates must be quality and detailed oriented and be able to adhere to specific directions, processes, tolerances and guidelines.

The ideal candidate is a positive, proactive, organized, and well-versed in using various finishing equipment and techniques. The ideal experienced finisher not only identifies potential problems, but also brings viable solutions to management for consideration The wide variety of tasks involved in this position requires that the experienced finisher must be flexible and willing to perform varying duties.

Job Requirements:

Ideally at least five years of fine finish work experience (wood, auto, or similar). Experience as a lead finisher, team leader or supervisor is preferred. Specific Training will be provided. Must have high school diploma.

Must be dependable, team player committed to excellence in the work place.

Must be able to work overtime as needed.

Must live within a reasonable commuting distance from Doylestown, PA.

Must pass pre-employment tests including drug test and background check.
