Job Description

Summary: Pre-sort incoming shipments; scan asset serial numbers, record any information needed to provide back to the customer; determine marketability or disposition to tear down; separate commodities not requiring tear down; market research

Hourly pay : $14.75

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Although this may be your primary duty or function, you are expected to be cross-trained in other areas of the business and assist in those areas on as-needed basis.

Pre-sort incoming shipments

  • Separate according to material type and disposition (plastics, metals, sellable material; tear down material)
  • Weigh all sorted material
  • Record on weight sheet in appropriate category
  • Record on material transfer sheets in appropriate categories
  • Removal of all asset tags
  • Recording of any additional information the customer may require
  • Complete material transfer sheets

Qualifications

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

General knowledge of Microsoft Excel; General knowledge in scanning of assets Ability to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in the English language

Successful completion of Background Investigation to include but not limited to Social Security Trace/Validation; Criminal Felony & Misdemeanor Search (all counties of residence),Statewide Criminal Search (all states of residence) and Employment Verification for the past 7 years; Drug Testing; Subsequent random Background Investigation and Drug Testing.
