Job Description

Responsibilities

As Senior Product Marketing Manager at Anitian, you will play a leadership role in planning and executing the product marketing strategy for our pre-engineered Anitian Cloud Security Platform. You will own positioning, messaging, content creation and sales enablement for the product platform, as well as the SHIFT UP initiative and value-prop launching this year.

You will work closely with stakeholders from sales, marketing, development (DevOps), SecOps, product management, and key technology partners to develop and execute your strategy.

Your work will also help power and enable lead generation efforts, outbound campaigns and programs, events and collateral development, and the promotion of the company’s brand, website, online presence and social media.

Experience in SaaS/cloud environment is key. We expect you to have a deep understanding of the latest digital and social techniques that drive engagement.

Focus and Imapct

  • Establish the unique value proposition and messaging for Anitian and the Anitian Cloud solution, with a clear understanding of the target markets and buyer personas.
  • Author compelling, high quality content and assets – both at a business and a technical level – in a variety of formats including print, web, social media, and video.
  • Work with customer-facing marketing and sales teams to develop compelling content and enablement tools to accelerate the buyers journey, including landing pages, blog posts, brochures, case studies, other special content and videos.
  • Launch products and collaborate with digital/corp. marketing and creative services teams to execute needle-moving marketing campaigns.
  • Effectively work at building and executing plans that cross different functional groups, including product teams, strategic alliances, partners and sales.
  • Become the expert on our customers, industry trends and players in the market through detailed analysis of competitors, use case scenarios, and customer problems.
  • Maintain and manage competitive intelligence and comparisons by working with cross-functional stakeholders and executing self-lead research.
  • Develop and execute website enhancement projects to support marketing campaigns and programs.
  • Represent the company in customer engagements and at events, to evangelize our mission, value-prop, and point of view.
  • Support outsourced marketing projects.
  • Build brand awareness, mindshare, and market-leadership.
  • Help direct and plan go-to-market efforts.

Qualifications

Experience

  • Experienced in marketing, with 7+ years of PMM experience.

  • Ability to think strategically and have long term vision for building on the foundation for the product marketing discipline.

  • Action-oriented and driven by results.

  • Obsessive about understanding customers and their challenges.

  • Able to prioritize and adapt. Ability to work on multiple projects while focusing the right level of effort on each.

  • Passionate about understanding and explaining your products, especially through the written word.

  • Very strong with written communication (writing samples desired).

  • Skilled at editing.

  • A performance marketer skilled in using data-driven metrics to develop, tune, and optimize marketing performance.

  • Comfortable with creating and delivering presentations in a range of environments, from industry conferences to customer briefings.

  • Experience with enterprise security, cloud security, network security and cloud service providers.

  • Experience working in high growth startup environment.

  • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA is desirable.
