Oregon, Portland, 97201 Portland USAWe are a locally owned company that is well-established looking for Full-time Welders, Pipefitters, Structural Fitters and Millwrights to join our team.
This position is only for well qualified individuals only.

Requirements:
- Must have own tools
- Working from shop drawings
- Prepare a materials request order
- Cut parts to be welded
- Weld aluminum, mild steel and stainless - Proficiently
- Design jigs and fixtures for use on production items
- Fabricate products with a level of precision so that they can be disassembled, shipped, and reassembled.
- Travel for installations (Northwest) Per-Diem and travel pay
- Bonus – Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Basic Electrical, Gearing, Conveyor Belts, Sawmill, Production Plant knowledge.
- Bonus - experience fabricating with a wide variety of materials
Duties:
- Weld, fabricate, troubleshoot, and resolve issues related to production
- Maintain welding equipment
- Read prints, layout, fit-up, welding, quality control
- Operate other shop equipment (grinder, saw, forklift, crane, plasma torch)
Experience & Education:
- Minimum of 5 years experience in shop
- Minimum of 5 years in field construction and erection
- Must have pipe and structural sheet fabrication experience
- Fluent in reading construction drawings
- Fluent in fabrication from design drawings
- Knowledge of basic geometry and algebra for fabrication needs
- Advanced tool knowledge
- Able to picture a three-dimensional object from 2D flat drawing
- Good understanding of hardware and its application
- Problem solving
Full-time position. General operating hours are M-Th between 5:00 am – 3:30 pm.
Wage is competitive and commensurate with experience.
