Software Engineer - Data We are looking for a Software Developer - Data, for our client who works in the entertainment industry. This is a great opportunity to work with billions of pieces of data that are used daily. This is a contract-to-hire opportunity open to a remote candidate (with Portland being strongly preferred), must be able to work PST hours.

Requirements: What we are looking for:
  • Experience with any OO programming language (Java, Python, C#, etc)
  • Spark experience is a HUGE plus
  • Expert SQL knowledge
  • AWS experience (S3, EC2 preferred)
  • ETL, EMR, EKS being set up through AWS
  • Experience with large data sets, data processing - 20 billion events/week
