Description: This hands on management role will lead a small team of engineers and contractors responsible for driving implementation of the Enterprise Services Integration technical delivery capabilities at the Client. You’ll have leadership responsibilities and be accountable to manage technical implementations in partnership with Solution Architecture, Integration & Global Information Systems leadership and business partners. In addition, this role will manage Azure costs as well as ensure the integrations meet business needs for scale, performance, security, and budget. Role:- Manage the day-to-day activities of the engineering team by defining, implementing, and maintaining a coherent, progressive development strategy for our product line
- Coordinate with others within the Client, on engineering best practices and dependencies and advocate them within the team
- Work with Enterprise Service Integrations leadership to translate complex functional and technical requirements into detailed project plans and schedules
- Participate in code and design reviews to help ensure stability and quality
- Improve, optimize, and identify opportunities for improved software development life cycle
- Responsible for staff development & coaching, hiring, and managing contractors and vendors
- 2+ years as a manager of technology team in an Agile environment (Scrum preferred)
- 5+ years of experience developing solutions using .Net/ C#
- Current or prior experience in a leadership role building complex integrations using modern RESTful APIs
- 2+ Azure (Enterprise Service Bus, Logic and Function Apps, Cosmos DB, etc) managing cloud based application development
- Strong software design skills incorporating fundamental Technical Architecture best practices
- 2+ years experience with Test-driven development using testing tools such as MSTest, NUnit, xUnit
- Experience building "self-monitoring" systems using tools such as Serverless360
- Database knowledge (both relational and non-relational)
- Experience level: 8-10 years
- A leader that enjoys motivating teams to perform at their highest levels
- Experienced leading projects and have excellent project management skills
- Passionate for continuous improvement of technology and business processes
- Able to communicate highly technical concepts to a non-technical audiences
