We have an opening for a Rental Support & Yard Coordinator who is responsible for the coordination of the physical loading, unloading, and staging of equipment at the dealership and maintain an organized yard in order to meet the Company’s customer satisfaction and efficiency goals. Essential Functions:

Greet, assist and coordinate incoming haulers and customers.

Load and unload new, used, rental equipment/attachments and containers.

Inspect incoming & outgoing equipment for damage.

Pull, stage, and return equipment for customer delivery/pickup, demos and shop

Deliver paperwork to customer as required; retrieve signed paperwork from customer.Job Duties:

Assist rental technician in basic rental check-in’s and out.

Maintain organization and safety of yard.

Keep batteries charged and organized.

Maintain order and placement of all attachments in yard.

Assist in new, used, and rental inventory placement, organization, and audits.

Coordinate outside vendors for fuel, propane and waste containers as necessary.

Secure forklifts and other material handling equipment inside locked gates at the end of each workday.

Expectations:

Maintains punctual, regular and predictable attendance.

Knowledgeable of all products.

Respectfully takes direction from Rental Manager and Transportation Coordinator.

Works well alone and collaboratively in a team environment with a positive attitude

Provide excellent customer service and maintains existing relationships

Ability to learn and comply with all Federal, State, and Norlift employment regulations or policies.

Requires an acceptable driving record / ability to maintain an acceptable driving record. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to manage multiple priorities and effectively organize workload.

Demonstrated high level of attention to detail

Ability to maintain forklift certification (provided by Norlift) and to safely operate material handling equipment (including forklifts).

User of Microsoft Office™ Outlook and experience with computer.

Ability to work independently or among a team with little supervision.

Displays strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively and professionally when working with customer or employee.

Dependable team player with regular attendance.

Self-motivated and ability to take initiative.

Education & Experience:

Prefer prior yard or warehouse coordination experience in a similar environment.

High school diploma or GED

Preferred mechanical aptitude and previous forklift experience.

Must be 18 years of age to operate a forklift and other material handling equipment.
