Youth/Sports Assistant Part-Time (Nehalem)

Youth/Sports Assistant, part-time. North County Recreation District Youth Center. Supervise programs and activities for school age children, Pre- K-8. Ensure safe, age-appropriate environment in child care program. After school, and during school closures. Maintain positive communication with parents, assist in planning, and maintain records. Demonstrated ability and interest in working with children, ability to obtain Food Handler permit, First Aid, and CPR certification. HS diploma or equivalent, age 18 years minimum. 20-25 hours/week during school year, more in summer. Starting wage $14.42/hr, pro-rated holiday pay, plus free membership for pool and fitness center, some other discounts. Must pass drug screen and background check.
