Guest Service Assistant - Bonfire Attendant (Pacific City)

Position Overview

Headlands Coastal Lodge and Spa is a luxury retreat catering to adventure-seekers and the active Pacific NW lifestyle. Our carefully appointed 33 room hotel offers a breathtaking view of the ocean, Haystack Rock, and Cape Kiwanda.

Share your sense of adventure, your passion for the outdoors, your love for the Oregon Coast and your outstanding hospitality skills with our guests at Headlands Coastal Lodge and Spa. You will be responsible for providing guests with unforgettable experiences that deliver our brand promise. You will set up the bonfire package for our guests and deliver an experience to our guests that they may never have enjoyed before.

Adventure Operations

You will maintain a current knowledge of the area, lodge, guest amenities and activities. You will coordinate with the Adventure Team to prepare the bonfire package supplies, greet and communicate with guests and build and clean up as many as 4 bonfires per evening.

Welcome Desk Operations. You will be responsible for completing tasks that support the daily operations of the welcome desk such as, stocking supplies, running guest amenities and welcoming guests.

Customer Service. The needs of our guests are our priorities each and every day. You will keep a current knowledge of what's happening each day and work as part of team to deliver great guest experiences. You will practice problem solving and think critically to determine the optimal location for each bonfire to ensure the guest experience is extraordinary.

Collaboration and Teamwork. You will work collaboratively with your co-workers in various departments to achieve a high standard for customer service and to ensure that every guest interaction delivers “hospitality Oregon style”. You will anticipate opportunities to assist co-workers.

Physical Demands and Environment. Hike across the beach to carry bonfire supplies. Build and clean up following bonfires. Lift and carry up to 50lbs. Position works outdoors in various weather conditions and temperatures.

Compensation includes hourly wage + gratuities.
