We have a 1 year contract opportunity for a FPGA Validation Engineer in Hillsboro, OR.Description:SW Engineer The High Density Modular Test HDMT team designs, develops and provides a breakthrough massively parallel low cost test technology for silicon validation and high volume manufacturing. We are currently developing the second generation HDMT Tester ecosystem including the HW and SW for new instruments to enable a universal "tester cell" infrastructure that provides the best user experience for the product development community and the HVM factories. This new test technology will be used to test billions of devices in the next decade. The HDMT tester includes multiple FPGA devices on various instruments, BIOS, and a software stack. The team is central to the organization with interfaces to FPGA design, FPGA SW test development & Validation and HW driver development.We are currently looking for an experienced FPGA/SW Validation engineer who will work on next generation instruments technology to support product. location: Hillsboro, Oregonjob type: Contractsalary: $55 - 58 per hourwork hours: 8am to 5pmeducation: Bachelors responsibilities:Your responsibilities include but are not limited to:- Strong FPGA Feature validation skill, find issue in hardware/FPGA implementations, and bottlenecks by running the test suites.- Capable of functional and architectural definition, test development, and automation for complex FPGA based Instruments.- Work at entire architecture, system level, integrate modules and components while maintaining overall system performance and targets- Drive standardized processes during implementations and continuously improve with the team.-Utilize SCRUM methodology qualifications:Qualifications:- Must have a MS or BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.- Clear written and verbal communication skills.- +3 years solid experience with Python and familiar with system interaction in all phases of FPGA based development including automated self-checking test benches- Knowledge of SW development and validation which interact with High Speed /complexity boards/instruments.- Knowledge/Experience with scripting languages such as Tcl, Perl, etc. skills: Qualifications:- Must have a MS or BS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.- Clear written and verbal communication skills.- +3 years solid experience with Python and familiar with system interaction in all phases of FPGA based development including automated self-checking test benches- Knowledge of SW development and validation which interact with High Speed /complexity boards/instruments.- Knowledge/Experience with scripting languages such as Tcl, Perl, etc.Equal Opportunity Employer: Race, Color, Religion, Sex, Sexual Orientation, Gender Identity, National Origin, Age, Genetic Information, Disability, Protected Veteran Status, or any other legally protected group status.Vacancy expired!
