Caregiver for Assisted Living (Eugene OR)

The Care Staff is critical in our Assisted Living and Residential Care Communities. This position has more contact with residents than any other. Staff in this position must provide the facility with a continuous stream of information on resident status, needs and issues.

Caregivers must be alert to changes in resident health, attitude and need. They must be able to clearly and concisely transfer this information through the system to ensure proper action is taken. The Caregiver must be able to adapt to the changing needs of the facility and the resident population at any given point in time.

They must be able to provide the direct care needed to help residents maintain their highest level of independence.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. This individual may or may not be a CNA.
