Research Analyst Intern

Position Summary

This position is an entry level position that will be trained to meet the job requirements starting with the basics increasing to more complex tasks over time. As a member of the operations team, the Research Analyst Associate is the interface between client partners and research directors. When fully trained, this individual will be responsible for programming surveys, setting up and generating various reports for Online, CLT, iHUT and other hybrid research projects; and is ultimately accountable for quality assurance of deliverables generated out of our survey development platform (Confirmit) and reporting applications, proprietary to InsightsNow. Research Analyst Associate is also responsible for supporting certain departmental objectives to improve efficiency and client satisfaction. This position will allow you to grow, learn and increase your experience along with InsightsNow.

Program online questionnaires using Confirmit

Analyze data using proprietary software

Validate and manage respondent data

Create and organize customized, client ready data-files, tables, spreadsheets and graphics to be incorporated into reports

Format client-ready reports

Review and verify quality of questionnaires and reports created by co-workers

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent work experience.

Experience with a primary Market Research firm or survey programming and data collection platform a plus

Experience working with vendors onshore and offshore is a plus

Must have excellent project management (Timelines, budgets, project meetings, documentation, metrics) and problem-solving skills

Must be proficient in Microsoft office applications, especially excel using formulas and functions. Excel macro programming a plus.

Have a basic knowledge of web-based programming concepts such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, C, C etc. is a plus

Have an exceptional command of verbal and written English language

Statistics knowledge is a plus

Must be able to multitask, be attentive to details and a team player

Initially a part time 30 hours/wk temporary job that could be converted into a full time regular position with benefits if the individual is motivated, learns quickly and a good fit.
