Elegant retirement community is seeking a part-time, weekend maintenance assistant in our professional, fun, and friendly team!

Position Summary: Maintenance Assistant

Performs general maintenance duties including but not limited to plumbing, electrical, carpentry, printing, flooring installation, general construction and grounds maintenance, and cleaning.

Maintains tools and equipment through scheduled inspection, servicing, and cleaning programs.

Performs preventative maintenance on facilities, grounds, equipment, and vehicles.

Performs daily inspection and cleanup of grounds to ensure a clean and safe environment for staff and residents.

Performs snow/ice removal as needed.

Assists Supervisor in inspection, monitoring and recording safety equipment including alarm systems.

Responds to work orders and management requests for service in a timely and professional manner.

Fills in for Supervisor in his absence as needed.
