Woodpecker Wildland Fire Fighters-Training Provided /Engine Bosses (Prineville, OR)

Woodpecker is Now Hiring We are currently taking applications for new and returning firefighters. Many exciting employment opportunities at top pay are available! We are also currently hiring Engine Bosses.

If you ever wanted to make a difference, maybe this is the calling for you. Not only is this challenging, it will be very profitable for you. You will be involved in representing the pride demonstrated by all who care for our lands. We are looking for dedicated men and women who are ready to make a difference. Those with no previous wildland firefighting experience are required to complete the entry level wildland firefighting four day course. We offer these courses to you for FREE and you will be certified by the end of it!

Starting wage for new fire fighters is $13.00 + $4.75(Health and Welfare) No Experience Needed! We will provide free training.

You must be at least 18 years of age and be legal to work in the United States. We travel the contiguous US on a -as needed basis- and maintain at least partial crew strength throughout the year in case of an emergency.
