ERP Developer

GDH Consulting has partnered with a global manufacturing company looking to add a Sr. ERP developer to their fulltime team. This role is responsible for providing analysis, design, development and configuration of the global AX ERP solution.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the maintenance, configuration, and reliable operation of ERP systems.
• Install and upgrade computer components and software, manage virtual servers, and integrate automation processes.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software errors by running diagnostics, documenting problems and resolutions, prioritizing problems, and assessing impact of issues.
• Provide documentation and technical specifications to IT staff for planning and implementing new or upgrades of application infrastructure.
• Perform regular health and performance check and provide enhancement plans.
• Support standard and custom Microsoft Dynamics AX2009 solutions in a multiple platform AX environment.
• Responsible for developing and implementing security roles within ERP environment.
• Execute all phases of software development including design and planning, unit testing, installation, deployment and support.
• Work as part of a global team providing technical solutions for Microsoft AX enterprise ERP solution.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of database, network administration, or system administration experience.
• Strong knowledge of SQL scripting.
• Experience with scripting and automation tools
• Familiarity of AX 2009 data model and definition a plus.
• Strong background in Microsoft Development technologies (.net, SQL Server, SSRR, SSIS).
• Experience including API management and web services a plus.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work with all levels of personnel individually and within teams. Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Strong analytical, trouble shooting and technical skills.
• Excellent demonstration of problem-solving skills.
• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred.
